BROOKLYN — A young man was shot to death in Brownsville early Easter morning after a fight, police said.
Donte Slade, 23, was found shot to the back on Herzl Street, near Riverdale Avenue, at 12:25 a.m.
He was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators believe Slade was shot by another man after a fight. It was not immediately clear what the dispute was about.
The suspect fled the scene, police said, and no arrests were made.
