Cops Hunting for Suspects Who Shot Teen in Back

BRONX — Cops are hunting for three young men who allegedly shot a teenager in the back in the Hunts Point section.

The suspects fired several shots at the 19-year-old victim Tuesday about 10 p.m. near East 149th St. and Jackson Ave., police said.

One of the bullets hit the victim, who was not identified, in the back, police said. He was taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.

The suspects fled south on Jackson Avenue. Cops believe they live or hang out in the nearby Betances Housing Development.
