More than 100 Occupy Wall Street protesters were ousted from Union Square Park early Wednesday morning after camping out there since Saturday, the New York Daily News reported.
Police erected barricades around a portion of the park just after midnight, the New York Post wrote. The public park is closed to the public after 1 a.m., but the rule is rarely enforced strictly.
One person was arrested in the early-morning stand off at Union Square Park, the Daily News reported.
The movement marked its six-month anniversary Saturday with a clash with police in Zuccotti Park.
The park reopened at 6 a.m., and protesters returned immediately.
