BROOKLYN — A fire broke out on the top floor of a Crown Heights high-rise building early Thursday, fire officials said.
The blaze sparked at 12:30 a.m. in a 20th floor apartment at 728 East New York Avenue, an FDNY spokesman said.
The fire was under control at 1:11 a.m., he said.
One person was injured in the blaze. The unidentified victim was taken Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, fire officials said.
The condition of the victim was not immediately known.
