QUEENS — A man was found murdered around the block from his East Elmhurst home Saturday evening, police said.
Responding to a 911 call, rescuers found George Portillo, 31, shot once to the torso on 95th Street and 31st Avenue at 5:45 p.m.
The victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital and pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made.
