BROOKLYN — A quartet of armed thugs that included a 13-year-old boy broke into a Brownsville apartment in broad daylight earlier this week and sexually assaulted a woman before fleeing with cash and electronics, police said.
The four men, all in their teens, entered the apartment through an unlocked door wearing ski masks and wielding a gun about 12:45 p.m. Monday, the NYPD said.
The men then tied up a 24-year-old man and 22-year-old woman inside the apartment before sexually assaulting the female, police said.
All four remained in the apartment for another hour before taking off with cash, three laptop computers, jewelry, a cell phone and credit/debit cards, the NYPD said.
The victims were found only after a roommate came home and called 911, police said.
Derrin Dyson, 17, Christopher Scott, 17, Dezhaun Samuels, 18, all of Brooklyn, and an unnamed 13-year-old boy were arrested and charged in the incident.
Scott, Samuels and the 13-year-old were hit with charges ranging from sex abuse and robbery to weapons possession, while Dyson was charged with burglary and possession of stolen property, police said.
