Two Injured in Fire on Pennsylvania Avenue in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN — Two people were injured in an early-morning blaze Wednesday in East New York, fire officials said.

The blaze began about 5:15 a.m. in a third-floor apartment in 214 Pennsylvania Ave., officials said. It was under control about half an hour later.

The casualties were taken to Brookdale Hospital with minor injuries, officials said.

The fire's cause is under investigation.
