BROOKLYN — A fire broke out on the second floor of a Flatbush building early Friday, officials said.
The blaze at 243 E. 26th Street began just before 9 a.m., fire officials said. The single-alarm fire was on the top floor of the two-story building, they said.
There were no injuries immediately reported.
A half hour into the blaze, firefighters were still trying to get it under control.
The cause was unknown.
