BROOKLYN — An early morning fire broke out Wednesday on the second floor of a building in Bedford-Stuyvesant, officials said.

The blaze began at 5:11 a.m. at 252 Vernon Ave., fire officials said.

It took 60 firefighters and 12 units about 45 minutes to get the fire under control. No one was injured, officials said.

The cause was under investigation, officials said, but there were no immediate signs that it was suspicious.
