BROOKLYN — A person was struck and killed by an A train at the Nostrand Avenue station in Bedford-Stuyvesant Saturday afternoon, authorities said.

The individual was hit by a southbound A train shortly after 4 p.m. inside the station, at Nostrand Avenue and Fulton Street, MTA and FDNY officials said.

No information was immediately available regarding the person’s identity or how the victim ended up on the tracks, officials added.

A trains were running on the local track between the Broadway Junction and Hoyt Street-Schermerhorn Street stations in both directions, the MTA said.
