MURRAY HILL — Big Blue got a big shout out from the Big Apple.

Giants fans went crazy in Murray Hill Sunday after their team scored a major upset against Green Bay in the playoffs, dominating the Packers to earn their first trip to the NFC Championship in three years.

"I'm so thrilled the Giants won tonight. It's so cool," said Melissa Zeigler, 23, of Manhattan, who was celebrating the 37-20 win at the Wharf Bar and Grill at 587 Third Ave., near 39th Street. "I think they are going all the way to the Superbowl."

Her pal, Alex Behrman, 23, also from Manhattan said that he wished he could go to the game next Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

"I know we're going to win," she said. "Let's go Giants."

The resurgent Giants dominated throughout the road game against the 15-1 Packers, who were coming off a bye week.

Fueled by quarterback Eli Manning's arm, spectacular grabs by wide receiver Hakeem Nicks and the stopping power of the defense, the Giants shut down last year's Super Bowl winner and their star quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

"We love it when the Giants win. This is New York City — we make everyone try harder," said the Wharf's owner Jimmy, 42. "I really think they going to win the Super Bowl."

And Madeleine Paul, 23, of Brooklyn, said: "I love the 49ers but I think the Giants are going to beat them. Manning is my hero."

Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who put down a friendly wager of cheese curds and root beer with Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt, gloated about the win.

"San Francisco here we come!" the mayor tweeted. "Let's Go @Giants #gobigblue"
