MANHATTAN — A man was struck and injured by an N train at the 34th Street-Herald Square subway station shortly before noon Monday, authorities said.

The man was hit by a Queens-bound N train entering the busy station at 11:55 a.m., the MTA and FDNY said.

He was conscious when emergency crews removed him from underneath the train and brought him to Bellevue Hospital, fire officials said. Witnesses said they saw the man being removed from the scene as emergency workers administered oxygen.

"He looked bad," said Carmen Juarez, of Brooklyn, who was on the Brooklyn-bound side of the platform as she watched authorities take the man away and remove his shoes from the track.

No details were immediately available regarding the person’s identity or how he ended up on the tracks, an MTA spokeswoman said.

Queens-bound N trains were being re-routed back to Brooklyn at the Whitehall Street-South Ferry station, while Q train service was suspended between the Whitehall Street and 57th Street/Seventh Avenue stations, according to the MTA. R trains were running along the F line.
