MANHATTAN — Lady Gaga returned to her Manhattan roots for a holiday special called "A Very Gaga Thanksgiving," that aired Thursday night on ABC.

Part of the show was to feature a sit-down interview with Katie Couric at the Convent of the Sacred Heart Catholic School, the Upper East Side establishment where Gaga attended high school. She also debuted new music from a "surprise" EP called "A Very Gaga Holiday."

"I directed it + spent weeks putting it together," Lady Gaga tweeted about the ABC program. "Enjoy!"

The holiday album features a cover of "White Christmas," as well as love versions of songs from her previous release, "Born this Way."

The Thanksgiving show also featured a live performance of Lady Gaga's single, "Marry the Night."
