MANHATTAN — Police and family are searching for a 13-year old from Wayland, Mass. who disappeared after boarding a bus to New York on Friday, Nov. 4.

The girl, Alexandra "Allie" Loftis was seen boarding a Manhattan-bound Peter Pan bus in Boston at approximately 6:15 p.m. on Friday.

According to the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, Loftis was last seen on video footage exiting a bus in New York later that night, at 11 p.m. Authorities believe she may have traveled to Brooklyn.

Loftis is described as 5'4", with pierced ears, braces, long brown hair, and brown eyes. Wayland police said she may be walking with a limp from a knee or leg injury, possibly with a crutch. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, jeans with holes, black Ugg boots, and a blue-gray backpack.

Police do not suspect foul play, and believe that Loftis had run away. Anyone with information regarding Loftis' location should call the Wayland Police Department at 508-358-4721.
