LOWER MANHATTAN — The World Trade Center will test its emergency notification system Monday morning, the Office of Emergency Management said Sunday.

Between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. Monday, passersby near the World Trade Center may hear beeps and loudspeaker messages as the Port Authority tests the system.

Construction workers will not be evacuated from the site.
