DOWNTOWN — TriBeCa resident Robert De Niro participated a public-service announcement for the anniversary of 9/11.
The PSA features 9/11 responders and families, imploring people to never forget the events of Sept. 11, 2001, and to support the 9/11 Memorial, which is slated to open on the 10th anniversary of the attacks next month.
"Join us to honor, remember and reunite," De Niro says in the video.
President Obama and former President George W. Bush will join a name-reading ceremony at Ground Zero on the anniversary of 9/11. Obama will also read poems to honor those lost.
