FLATIRON DISTRICT — Finding a Philly cheesesteak in Manhattan is about to get easier.

Shorty's Authentic Philly Steaks & Sandwiches is branching out from its Hell's Kitchen home on Ninth Avenue between 41st and 42nd streets and opening a new location in the Flatiron District.

"Plans finished," the restaurant tweeted @shortysNYC Wednesday. "Construction next week."

A "coming soon" sign hangs in the window at 66 Madison Ave., between 27th and 28th streets.

The popular eatery claims to serve the only "authentic" South Philly style sandwich in New York, with thin slices of sirloin and melted cheese on a long roll.

Shorty's stays true to its Philly roots, the restaurant says, never kowtowing to trendy demands such as using wheat bread or pita.

"That's just not how it's done," the restaurant's website says.

Instead it uses freshly baked Italian hoagie rolls shipped from the City of Brotherly Love.

Just as the Hell's Kitchen venue serves up 22 craft ales, the new location is planning on having plenty of beers on tap.

"Still pounding out details, but we're shooting for another 20 or so," the restaurant said on Facebook.

Shorty's inspired at least one Yelp reviewer to pen an ode to a cheesesteak.

"Whilst you make me fatty," Sarah H. wrote, "I'll take you over a patty."
