FLATIRON - A man was severely beaten on a Flatiron street early Saturday morning, officials said.
The 27-year-old victim was found unconscious with severe head and body trauma near 172 Fifth Ave., which is near 22nd Street.
Sources said that he may have been attacked by a group of people.
The motive for the beating was not immediately clear.
He was rushed to Bellevue Hospital in serious condition.
