MANHATTAN — A woman was pulled out of the East River Tuesday morning, an FDNY spokesman said.
It is unknown how she got into the water at East 23rd Street.
She was found next to a dock by the pilot of a seaplane, who got her out of the river and called 911, the manager of the wharf where she was found told DNAinfo.
The FDNY spokesman said she was taken to Bellevue Hospital at 11.37 a.m., and was conscious when she was brought out of the river.
