MANHATTAN — The Black Eyes Peas are reportedly bringing the Boom Boom Pow to Central Park this summer, for free.

The band is scheduled to perform a free concert in the park on June 9. The event will be called "Concert 4 NYC," the Associated Press reported, and will benefit the Robin Hood Foundation.

There will be more than more than 50,000 tickets available through a free online giveaway, according to the AP.

The six-time Grammy Award-winning group made headlines in Manhattan recently when they announced they would be opening a music school in Lower Manhattan. The school will also be in partnership with the Robin Hood Foundation.
