MANHATTAN — Actress Uma Thurman and three other victims of the massive Kenneth Starr ponzi scheme filed suit Tuesday to demand their money back, the New York Post reported.
Starr was sentenced to 7 ½ years in prison last month, after pleading guilty to the $30 million dollar fraud that counted Oscar winners and basketball legends among its victims.
Thurman was identified last spring as one of the clients referred to in the complaint against Starr. She reportedly stormed into Starr's office demanding explanation after $1 million disappeared from her account.
Now, Thurman, who played a blood-thirsty revenge seeker in the "Kill Bill" movies, is reportedly taking legal action to get her money back.
The actress, who left her townhouse in Greenwich Village for Gramercy Park last year, according to Curbed, is asking the court for repayment of two unspecified investments and $485,000 in fees she paid to Starr, the Post reported.
