MANHATTAN — The City Parks Foundation will use Twitter to announce the 26th SummerStage season, giving New Yorkers a heads-up on all the summer concert action.

Starting April 1 at noon, one SummerStage performance will be announced each day for 20 days, culminating with the full announcement of more than 300 artists at over 100 performances on April 21.

In addition to announcing the artists, some of the tweets will offer fans a chance to win prizes and preferred venue access.

The Brooklyn Flea will also return to the festival for a second year, with food vendors Pizza Moto, Asia Dog and Blue Marble Ice Cream slated to attend, SummerStage reps said in a press release.
