MANHATTAN — Actor Robert DeNiro was expected to testify against an art dealer accused of swindling his late father's estate at the Manhattan Supreme Court on Friday, the New York Post reported.
Leigh Morse allegedly pocketed $77,000 from the sale of two paintings by Robert DeNiro Sr., the actor's father, the Post reported.
DeNiro will testify against Morse in his capacity as the administrator of his late father's estate, the paper reported.
Morse worked at the Salander-O'Reilly Galleries owned by Lawrence Salander, who was sentenced in August to six years in prison for cheating his clients out of $120 million.
Salander admitted to defrauding DeNiro and tennis star John McEnroe, among others.
