TIMES SQUARE — A new art installation was unveiled at Times Square Tuesday, but all eyes were on La La Vazquez.

Trailed by a gaggle of TV cameras, the wife of Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony, toured the crossroads of the world with her 3-year-old son, Kiyan, for a segment on her new reality series for VH1.

"I am excited, but it’s a little overwhelming," Vazquez told DNAinfo about her whirlwind move back to New York after Anthony was traded to the Knicks last week.

"I’m trying to keep it as normal as I can," the former MTV VJ said, as cameras flashed and tourists stared.

In addition to checking out the red steps of the TKTS booth in Duffy Square and seeing the New Year's Eve Ball, mother and son, who had a newly-purchased Batman poster for his room, also checked out the temporary art installation.

"I think if mommy would have let him, he would have been inside," said excited TriBeCa artist Grimanesa Amoros, whose sculpture of a tower of translucent spheres features a small opening that kids can crawl into.
