UPPER MANHATTAN — Residents from Harlem to Inwood will get three opportunities to sound off about the issues that most affect their communities at town hall meetings organized by Assemblyman Herman "Denny" Farrell and a host of other Northern Manhattan elected officials.

The town hall meetings are scheduled for Friday and Saturday evening, as well as March 3, and will feature elected officials and community groups from the Assembly's 71st District, which covers Harlem, Washington Heights and Inwood.

Farrell's office organized the three events so the Assemblyman could get feedback from the community, especially as Albany grapples with looming budget cuts.

"He does a lot of walking and jogging through community, so he sees and communicates with a lot of people, but a Town Hall can really give people a chance to show interest in their community," said Frank Hess, special assistant to Farrell.
