MANHATTAN — Natalie Portman nabbed another best actress trophy for "Black Swan" on her road to the Oscars, but set off the censors when she dropped a swear word in her Screen Actor's Guild Awards acceptance speech.

Portman's acceptance speech graciously thanked SAG for protecting her as a child actress and also set off the censors when she gave thanks to her parents.

"My parents, who always taught me to work my hardest and never be an a--hole," Portman said.

Portman's performance in "Black Swan," a thriller set in Manhattan's high-strung ballet world, has set critics abuzz. She's already won a Golden Globe award for her role in the film.

Portman is a favorite for the best actress award at the Academy Awards Feb. 27 in Los Angeles.

New York also featured prominently in other awards.

Julianna Marguiles, star of "The Good Wife" on CBS about the wife of an Eliot Spitzer-like politician and her recovery from his sex scandal, gave a shout out to New York after accepting her award for outstanding performance by a female actor in a drama series.

Marguiles thanked, "all the teamsters for digging us out of the snow for the past two weeks," the Daily News reported.

Native New Yorker Al Pacino nabbed an award for his portrayal of controversial euthanasia advocate, Dr. Jack Kevorkian, in the HBO mini-series, "You Don't Know Jack".

Claire Danes, another Manhattan native, also took home a trophy for her role as Temple Grandin in the TV film of the same name.

Alec Baldwin, star of "30 Rock," nabbed the win for outstanding performance by a male actor in a comedy series.
