MANHATTAN — Disgruntled straphangers flocked to Twitter to vent after a stalled L train made for a miserable morning commute.

Commuters were held up when an L train stalled at the Bedford Avenue stop, forcing some Manhattan-bound trains to turn around, according to the MTA.

MTA officials said the train stalled at 8:33 a.m. and was cleared shortly after 9 a.m. Multiple Manhattan-bound trains were forced to turn around at the Myrtle-Wyckoff station. L-trains in both directions had to share a single track, significantly delaying commute times, according to an MTA spokesman.

Another spokesman said the problem would be resolved shortly after 10 a.m.

However, straphangers continued to complain on Twitter of delays and overcrowding into the morning.

"I should have learned by now that the L train = the late train," Twitter user bltidm wrote around 10:20 a.m.

"The L train is seriously jerking me around today. Stop playing with my emotions!" another Twitter user, amiboghani, demanded.

"Early, late, cranky. UGH," the frustrated commuter added.

Other straphangers insisted that the L train was "packed like [a tin of] sardines" and claimed that you "Couldn't fit a flea onto the platform at Bedford St."

Similar complaints also sprouted up about the 7 train, which, an MTA spokesman said, began experiencing signal problems at 7:34 a.m. The problem was ongoing as of 10:15 a.m., and express service continued to be suspended in both directions, according to the spokesman.
