MANHATTAN — You can continue to leave your car right where it is — the city has once again suspended alternate side parking regulations on Tuesday.
The city suspended the rules in advance of the snow and ice expected to move in Monday night, according to the Department of Transportations Twitter handle NYCASP.
Drivers will still have to feed the meters.
One to two inches of snow are expected as the storm moves into the area after midnight, according to meteorologists. The snow will change over to freezing rain early Tuesday morning then rain after 9 a.m. as the high temperature rises to 36 degrees, AccuWeather reported.
Holidays, snowstorms and blizzards have given Manhattan’s drivers quite the break from shuffling their cars. Aside from a few days last week, the city has suspended alternate side parking regulations every day since the Dec. 26 blizzard.
