MANHATTAN — Manhattan is literally lighting up in anticipation of Sunday’s Jets playoff game.

The Empire State Building, the city’s 102-story good luck charm, was illuminated in Jets’ green and white Friday afternoon to help usher in a Sunday victory against the New England Patriots.

The Gang Green beacon will remain on display through Saturday night, as the team prepares for a 4:30 p.m. faceoff in Massachusetts the following afternoon.

Last week, the Jets managed to defeat Peyton Manning’s Indianapolis Colts with a last-minute game-winning kick.

This time around, Mayor Michael Bloomberg is predicting another herculean win against Tom Brady’s Patriots.

Hizzoner promised that the Jets would make it all the way to the Super Bowl during his weekly radio appearance Friday.

“The Jets are going to the Super Bowl – you heard it from me!” he said.
