MANHATTAN — Pop star Lady Gaga is poised to earn $100 million in 2011, according to Forbes magazine's prediction.
Gaga, who the magazine estimates earned $64 million in 2010, is likely to hit six figures thanks to her ambitious touring schedule of 41 shows in the first half of the year and her highly anticipated new album, "Born This Way," which will be released in May.
"If the album is a success, she'll be beyond an arena act by the end of the year," entertainment attorney Bernie Resnick, who represents Gaga’s manager, Troy Carter, told Forbes. "She could be a stadium act."
In addition to record sales and playing sold-out shows, the native New Yorker is set to make plenty of money from her endorsements of video sunglasses for Polaroid, headphones for Beats by Dre, and phones for VirginMobile.
