MANHATTAN — The Jets' Super Bowl dreams were kept alive Saturday when a last second, 32-yard field goal edged them just one point ahead of the Colts.
The come-from-behind win in Indianapolis means the wild-card team have a playoff showdown with the Patriots on Sunday next week.
The field goal by kicker Nick Folk was literally the last play of the game.
"It was a herculean effort by our team," Jets' coach Rex Ryan told the Daily News.
"I'm thankful I finally got to beat Peyton Manning."
The game was seemingly over when the Colts took the lead with a 50-yard field goal with only 53 seconds to go.
But Jets linebacker Bart Scott told the Daily News, "Some of the tight games that we had earlier in the season prepared us for this type of moment, because we didn't panic.
"We still believed."
Folk's kick came as the clock counted down the last three seconds.
"I've had some good ones," the hero of the game told the News.
"But nothing like this."
