MANHATTAN — Suspended subway lines and bus delays continued to slow down New York commuters on Wednesday, three full days after the blizzard ended.
Delays and the suspension of several subway lines in Brooklyn is making for another unpleasant morning for straphangers. The Franklin shuttle is suspended in both directions between the Franklin Avenue Station and the Prospect Park Station. The B line is suspended in both directions from the Bedford Park Boulevard Station and the Brighton Beach Station in Brooklyn because of snow-related problems. The Q and the N lines are also suspended in parts of Brooklyn because of snow conditions.
Bus service is still spotty on several lines in the outer boroughs with several delays being caused by snowy street conditions.

The Long Island Railroad returned to a mostly normal schedule with limited service and delays on most of its lines. Commuters heading into Manhattan on the Ronkonkoma line experienced problems early Wednesday when a broken rail in Wyandanch caused the cancellation of two Eastbound trains between 4:30 a.m. and 6 a.m. Eastbound service was back up and running with minor delays by 6 a.m. However, the LIRR announced it was canceling the 10:13 a.m. train from Penn Station to Ronkonkoma to work on the broken rail.
Metro-North appeared to be back to normal with no delays reported.
Alternate-side parking and meter rules are suspended again in the city on Wednesday as crews work to clear roads left buried by the blizzard.
