MANHATTAN — Andrew Cuomo is one of the sexiest men alive, at least according to People Magazine.
The attorney general and governor-elect makes an appearance in this year’s eye-candy issue, which officially hits store shelves Friday.
Cuomo is included in a "Sexy at Every Age" spread along with others in the 50-plus set, including David Duchovny. Ryan Reynolds received the magazine's coveted "Sexiest Man Alive" prize.
Cuomo smiled wide when asked about his inclusion after making a Thanksgiving donation at the New York City Rescue Mission Wednesday.
"Were you surprised?" he joked.
Cuomo admitted he "had a little bit of fun with it" because his younger brother, journalist Chris Cuomo, appeared in the magazine's "Most Beautiful People" list back in 1997.
"I sort of delighted in looking at the list and calling up Chris and saying 'There must be a typo' cuz I couldn’t find his name or picture in the list,” Cuomo laughed.
In an interview with New York Times, the younger Cuomo said he was happy for his brother "and his so-called sexiness."
"It must be comforting for him to receive kudos from someone other than our mother, who favors him," he told the paper.
The sexiness seems to run in the family.
Former Gov. Mario Cuomo, their dad, was one of Playgirl’s Sexiest Men of 1985, People said.
Cuomo is currently dating Food Network star Sandra Lee.
He said he is planning to celebrating Thanksgiving at his sister Margaret’s house in Nassau Country.
Lasagna will not be on the menu, he said.
