MIDTOWN — Recession-friendly eatery 99 Cent Fresh Pizza has expanded its empire, opening a new location this week at West 55th Street and Broadway.
The new shop, located across Broadway from a Famous Ray's, offers the same mix of toppings and sodas as the pizza purveyor's half dozen other Manhattan locations, according to worker Emon Ahmed.
Mushrooms, sausage, pepperoni, extra cheese, black olives and pineapple are all available — but they'll set you back an extra 50 cents each.
Exiting the West 55th Street counter on Wednesday afternoon, technician Dave Sanchez, 46, declared his slice, doused in crushed red peper, "worth the money."
