MANHATTAN SUPREME COURT — A former Cipriani cook charged with shoving a woman onto the tracks of the R train pleaded not guilty to attempted murder on Thursday.

Jose Rojas, 25, was recently indicted on attempted murder charges after allegedly throwing Chelsea marketing executive Ute Linhart onto the subway tracks in August on the 23rd Street platform.

"I don't know why I pushed her," Rojas allegedly told police after his his arrest on Aug. 11.

Linhart was taken to Bellevue Hospital with serious injuries, including broken ribs and a crushed sinus cavity, after the train Rojas allegedly pushed her into knocked her back onto the platform.

According to court papers unsealed at his Manhattan Supreme Court arraignment on Thursday morning, Rojas played coy with police when asked for information about who he was and where he was from.

"My name is Osama Bin Laden," Rojas said, according to court papers.

Rojas was ordered held without bail. He faces up to 25 years in prison and is next scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 16.
