Manhattan — Former New York Jets quarterback Brett Favre has reportedly admitted leaving voicemails for a woman he's accused of sexually harassing.

Favre told NFL investigators he left a voicemail message for Jenn Sterger, but he denied texting her photos, Fox TV's Jay Glazer reported on Sunday.

The 41-year-old quarterback allegedly called Sterger to invite her to his hotel room, according to a report by Deadspin.com. Sterger, a former Maxim model, was working as a sideline reporter for the Jets in 2008 when Favre was on the team.

Favre is also accused of text messaging Sterger lewd photographs of himself, according to several reports. Favre has denied sending the photos.

The quarterback, who now plays for the Minnesota Vikings, could be fined or suspended if found guilty of workplace sexual harrassment.

Sterger has not yet spoken to representatives of the NFL.

Favre threw three interceptions Monday night in the Vikings a 28-24 loss to the Green Bay Packers.
