MANHATTAN — Call it destiny's child.
Pop megarstar Beyonce is pregnant with husband Jay-Z's baby, Us Weekly reported.
Hip-hop's reigning king and queen, who own a TriBeCa penthouse together, will welcome their first child sometime in 2011 after rumors swirled earlier this year that the couple was expecting.
"She's got the most beautiful heart," the singer's sister, Solange Knowles, told the magazine. "She'll be a great mom."
Beyonce, 29, who wed Jay-Z in 2008, is reportedly in her first trimester, but neither has confirmed the pregnancy.
Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, 40, co-founded Roc-A-Fella Records and also co-owns the NBA's New Jersey Nets. He also owns the Flatiron nightclub The 40/40 Club.
His 2009 ode to New York City, "Empire State of Mind," reached No. 1 on the Billboard charts and was performed by the rapper last year during the World Series and the Yankees championship parade.
News of the reported pregnancy spread quickly throughout Twitter on Wednesday.
"Can you say chicest baby ever?" Glamour’s fashion blog tweeted.
