MANHATTAN — The owner of a popular sports bra line recently discovered an unlikely fan of her work – the burly male porter at her Murray Hill apartment building, the New York Post reported.
Kelly Dooley, owner and designer of the BodyRock Sport bra and underwear line, said she found the porter, Hector Solano, in her apartment last Friday, frantically redressing after having apparently tried on one of her thong bodysuits, the Post reported.
"When you wear one of my designs, you will feel confident, comfortable, sexy and stylish," Dooley, 28, claims on her brand's website. But the 25-year-old Solano was none of these things after being discovered half-naked in the designer's bathroom, according to the paper.
He was "afraid of me. His hands are up, and he's begging me, 'Please don't tell,'" an apparently unsympathetic Dooley told the Post.
"I'm basically dragging him out of the apartment."
Solano was later found by police cowering in the basement of the apartment building, the Post said. He was arrested and charged with sexually motivated burglary, according to the paper.
Those interested in sampling Dooley's designs without the possibility of jail time can find them at the Reebok Club, the LA Sports club or online. A sports bra adorned with a gunmetal charm necklace goes for $1,850 on the company's website.
