MANHATTAN — Looking for a date? Try Starbucks — or at least smelling like one.

In an Axe men's grooming products-sponsored study, the Smell and Taste Treatment and Research Foundation found that NYC girls are most attracted to the scent of coffee, NBC New York reported.

While the study didn't offer any reasoning for New York women's preferences, it did note that most smells that women found attractive across the country differed.

Women in Dallas found the smell of campfire smoke the most attractive, while women in Los Angeles seemed to dig lavender.

In Philadelphia, the most popular smell is clean laundry.
