MANHATTAN — Jay-Z and Eminem performed to a roaring full house Monday night at the first concert held in the new Yankee Stadium.

Jay-Z, who is frequently photographed wearing a Yankees cap, called the sold-out concert for the duo’s “Home and Home” tour a “dream come true.”

“I gotta tell y’all it’s one of the most wonderful things being here tonight, being from New York City and being in Yankee Stadium,” Jay-Z told screaming fans, according to Associated Press.

“Do not think that I don’t know where I’m at right now,” Detroit-based performer Eminem agreed, AP reported. “I’m also honored to be on this (expletive) stage in the Bronx, the (expletive) birthplace of hip-hop.”

Jay-Z performed hits like “99 Problems” and “Hard Knock Life,” while Eminem performed new songs “Love the Way You Lie” and “Not Afraid,” the AP reported.

Fans went crazy at the concert, which went well past midnight and also featured Kanye West, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Nicki Minaj and Beyonce.

“This show is nuts! I'm watching Eminem at Yankee freaking Stadium. Unreal,” fan ryanshell tweeted Monday from the stadium.

Later, he followed up with the tweet “That.Was.Awesome.”

“The Jay Z and Eminem concert was totally Historic- like the VMAs at Yankee Stadium no need for a red carpet-can't wait for an encore tonight,” concert-goer GabrielleGabby tweeted Tuesday.

The historic moment came with a price, however. Tickets to see the rappers perform their “Home and Home” tour sold for up to $13,000, the New York Daily News reported.

Jay Z and Eminem will perform a second concert at Yankee Stadium Tuesday night at 7:30.
