MANHATTAN — Major subway delays on Manhattan bound A trains are expected to begin Tuesday, according to the MTA.

Construction work on five A train stations in the Rockaways begins Tuesday and is expected to last until next Spring, WABC reported. Manhattan-bound A trains will not stop at Beach 25th, Beach 44th or Beach 67th. Queens-bound trains won't stop at Beach 90th or 105th Street.

Bronx strap hangers can look forward to speedier service. The 5 train express service from East 180th Street into the borough has been restored for morning and evening rush hours.

Full service updates re available on the MTA website.
