MANHATTAN — Ex-hip-hop mogul Damon Dash bid goodbye to his TriBeCa duplex for $5.5 million at a foreclosure sale, the New York Post reported.

Dash, who co-founded Roc-A-Fella records and Rocawear clothing line with Jay-Z, also bid farewell to another Manhattan apartment at 79 Laight St., the Post said.

Dash fell into tough times after splitting from Jay-Z and running up a large tax bill.

Since his fall, he's reportedly focused more on art and music.

"Where he is now is where he wants to be," Nyssa Frank, the director of Dash's art gallery, told the Post. "He's happier now than he’s ever been because he’s working with people he loves doing what he loves."

The Tribeca duplex, located at 25 N. Moore St., was grabbed by Platinum Capital partners, a California-based mortgage and finance firm, according to the Post. The Laight Street apartment was returned to the bank.

Dash reportedly tried to sell both apartments unsuccessfully, as early as two years ago. He was not present at the auction, the paper said.
