MANHATTAN— Someone better call Batman because Cat Woman is on the loose in Gotham.
A woman wearing an all-black outfit, black scarf and a cat mask was shown in surveillance footage released by the NYPD Tuesday afternoon holding up the Arche shoe store in Astor Place, one of three stores she's hit in recent months.
In the 56 seconds of footage, the woman believed to be in her 20s is seen entering the store in full costume and then browsing before handing the teller a note.
"Give me your money. I have a gun," the note read, according to police. No gun was brandished in the video, but the woman held her hand inside a black bag until the teller passed her an unknown amount of money.

Other customers enter the store and mill around, oblivious to the heist that occurred last Thursday.
When it was over, the Cat Woman retrieved her note and walked out.
She is wanted in connection to two other robberies in Queens, the NYPD said.
The first occurred on April 23, when the woman passed a similar note at a Nine West in Forest Hills and made off with an unknown amount of cash, police said.
Last Friday, she held up a Body Shop in Forest Hills and demanded money or else she would shoot everybody in the store, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
