MANHATTAN — Mets’ ace Johan Santana said he did have sex with a woman who accused him of rape last year — but it was consensual.

Santana told police that he met the accuser 10 days before the October incident, and on an evening walk the next night had intercourse in the woods while his father and a family friend played tennis nearby, according to a police report posted on thesmokinggun.com.

The accuser told police that she had told Santana to stop, but Santana told police that the woman was “very excited” and during intercourse told the pitcher to come back to her residence.

“The encounter was completely consensual,” he continued.

Police declined to prosecute Santana, saying there was not enough evidence to prove lack of consent, according to a sheriff’s document posted on TMZ.com on Wednesday.

Santana is married with three children.
