MANHATTAN — Police are on the hunt for four miniature muggers who allegedly robbed a 68-year-old man in Central Park Monday evening, according to a statement by the NYPD.
The junior criminals — ranging in height from 4-foot-6 to 5-foot-5 — approached the man near East 96th Street and East Drive around 7:50 p.m., police said.
One of the alleged suspects showed off a gun and another a knife, as they demanded the parkgoer's cell phone and cash, the NYPD said.
The man complied and no one was injured, police said.
The suspected stick-up artists were caught on park surveillance camera, according to police.
All of the suspects were described as black teens, wearing shorts and t-shirts, and one had on a white hat.
