UPPER EAST SIDE — Hamburger aficionados on Second Avenue will soon have the option to get that Go Burger to stay.

The burger truck, which has been parked recently at South Street Seaport, will open a new, eat-in restaurant on the Upper East Side at 1450 Second Ave off East 75th Street.

The restaurant applied for a liquor license with Community Board 8 last week, but owners did not have a set opening date, said Jackie Goldstein, a spokesperson for the business.

Owners will also open two other Go Burger restaurants in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., Goldstein said.

Fans of the burger truck can expect the same menu at the stand-alone store, said a manager at the BLT Burger, which is part of the same restaurant group that owns the Go Burger truck.

The restaurant held an on-line contest to name the new burger joint, which is owned by Jimmy Haber, who owns the BLT Restaurant chain.
