Urban Farm, Dog Run or Playground? Community Board 2 Hosts Session on Envisioning Public Space

The Department of Environmental Protection placed water shaft sites across Manhattan. One at Hudson Street between West Houston and Clarkson Streets will be turned over for public use.

The Parks Committee of Community Board 2 will be hosting a "New Public Space Envisioning Session" on Wednesday to discuss the city-owned lot on Hudson Street between West Houston and Clarkson Streets, which is about to be turned over for public use. Groups have suggested turning it into an urban farm, a dog run or a youth sports space.
