MANHATTAN — Actor Kelsey Grammer flashed a gloating smile as he received a kiss on the cheek from his wife, a former Playboy model, at the premiere of his new Broadway play.
"La Cage Aux Folles," which stars Grammer as a nightclub owner in Saint-Tropez, France, opened Sunday at The Longacre Theatre.
Grammer's "Fraiser" co-star, David Hyde Pierce, attended the premiere, along with director John Cameron Mitchell, actor Jason Biggs and "Counting Crows" singer Adam Duritz, who still wears his dreadlocks from the 1990s.

The event also honored Les Paul, the late guitar great and Manhattan music legend.
