MANHATTAN — Actress Jennifer Connelly struggled to keep her eyes on the artwork and off of her actor husband, Paul Bettany, at the TriBeCa Ball last night.

The married duo, who recently played Mr. and Mrs. Charles Darwin in the biopic, Creation, were honorary chairs at the event to benefit students of the New York Academy of Art.

Actress Parker Posey and Keith Richards' progeny, Alexandra and Theodora Richards, were also on hand.

Blocks away, Sean "Diddy" Combs joined New York football stars Eli Manning, of the Giants, and LaDainian Tomlinson, newly of the Jets, for the launch of a new Gatorade drink.

At one point in the evening, the three men took shots of a beverage that resembled Pepto-Bismol.

Baby-faced Giant's quarterback, Eli Manning, looked hesitant before taking a shot with Sean Combs and LaDainian Tomlinson.

Meanwhile, at the new Plaza Hotel, New York City schools' Chancellor Joel Klein stood dwarfed by a group of beautiful women that included actress Uma Thurman.

The Kill Bill star was on hand to attend the 2010 Turnaround For Children benefit dinner, which honored Chancellor Klein, among others.

Joel Klein, Chancellor of the New York City Department of Education, was honored last night at the 2010 Turnaround For Children benefit dinner and treated with a photo beside actress Uma Thurman.
