MANHATTAN — Actors Bebe Neuwirth and Nathan Lane returned to the Broadway stage on Wednesday for the premiere of their new play "The Addams Family," which opened to scarily bad reviews.

Actor Matthew Broderick, who co-stared with Lane in "The Producers," also showed for what the New York Times described as a "collapsing tomb" and a "genuinely ghastly musical."

Meanwhile, in the East Village, "O.C." star Rachel Bilson had some laughs with Gwenyth Paltrow's mom, actress Blyth Danner, at night two of the 15th Annual Gen Art Film Festival.

The West Coast babe was in town for a screening of her new film, "Waiting for Forever," where she was joined by TV medicine woman and Wedding Crashers cougar, Jane Seymour.
